PENGARUH KETERAMPILAN DAN PENGALAMAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA PENGRAJIN GERABAH DI NEGERI OUW KECAMATAN SAPARUA KABUPATEN MALUKU TENGAH

Abstract


Pottery industry has existed in Ouw village since long time ago, and the people of this community work as sempe – belanga (clay pot) craftsmen. It is a traditional business inherited from their ancestors and has been passed down from generation.

This business is the only home industry growing in the District of Saparua in the Central Molluccas Regency and is one of the sources for the locals’ income.

This research, conducted in the District of Saparua especially in Ouw village in Central Moluccas, this reseach aim to describe the effect of job skills and work experience on the performance of craftsmen. To find the answer, some craftsmen, totaling 50 people, Primary data collection method used is the questionnaire method. The data analysis technique used in this study is the technique of multiple regression analysis. The results of the regression used that job skills and work experience have a positive and significant influence of the performance of craftsmen.
